After lighting a candle it starts crying with a silent scream, it has a new light over itself to look and see, to search and reach for life.

But, how long the light will go on?

By eating from the tree of knowledge, Adam and Chava brought a light over themselves that lead them to death.

But HOW could a knowledge bring death to them???

It is EXPECTED from a knowledge to open our eyes, not to bring death upon us!!!

After all, who wants to live in darkness???

It seems that eating from the tree of knowledge was in fact the right decision Adam and Chava made and most probably we would do the same, if we’re told eating from the tree will open our eyes.

So what was going on behind the scenes that they didn’t see?

A better question to ask is perhaps why after thousands of years we don’t see what they didn't see??!!

So let’s get into some details and find out what happened...

If you see an advertisement that you will receive something for FREE, it is NOT really free as you may think it is.

You pay for it somehow!

In most cases, you pay even more than its actual cost.

Therefore, it is better NOT to fall for it.

This is when we are dealing with humans.

But the creator is NOT a human.

He is NOT in business with us!

He is our father.

When it comes to the creator, FREE is FREE except with the condition that WE won’t be embarrassed for receiving something for FREE and not earn it.

Because the creator is good, His purpose for creating the universe was only to give man eternal life at no cost to him.

This means that man did NOT have to work for what he received.

This also means that man would receive eternal life and would NOT feel “ashamed” for not earning it.  

According to Torah, when the creator made Adam and Chava, they were both naked and were NOT embarrassed for being naked.

Therefore, this information leads us to learn they did NOT know what “shame” was.

The creator made Adam and Eve with the condition that if they didn't know what “shame” was, they would NOT feel embarrassed for receiving eternal life for FREE and not work for it.

In other words, if they don’t know what the BREAD OF SHAME is, they could live forever for FREE and fulfill the creator's plan too.

On the other hand, if they know what the BREAD OF SHAME is, the plan will change to limited life time because NOW they are aware of this knowledge and will be embarrassed for receiving eternal life for FREE without earning it.

That is WHY the creator told Adam and Chava if they eat from the tree of knowledge, they will surely die. 

Therefore, after they sinned and found out what “shame” was, the eternal life was taken away from them for their own very best.

In fact, the creator put such condition prior creating the physical aspect of man because the soul of man asked the creator to do so....He did not want to be embarrassed for not earning eternity.

So the light Adam and Chava brought upon themselves was the knowledge of “bread of shame.”

Now man has to work for earning his eternal life.

He has to work on his weak feelings that Satan took control of and lead him to death.

In other words, he has to work on his character to be able to take the control back from Satan while the light is still on.
